Critique on First 50 Pages
Agents often ask for the first fifty pages before requesting a full manuscript. So let’s make sure these pages are strong. We’ll critique the first fifty page of your manuscript and give you feedback on your novel’s hook, protagonist development, writing style, and inciting incident.
Query Letter
We’ll craft a compelling query letter to use when pitching to agents. All you need to do is fill out a questionnaire to give us a comprehensive overview of the book’s structure and some relevant information about your writing journey. This service comes with one round of revisions.
Comp Title Research
We’ll research 3 books that have been published in the past 18 months for you to use as comparative titles for querying. These titles will be similar to your book in genre and age market as well as theme, protagonist archetypal journey, or “big idea” concept.
Agent Tracker Spreadsheet
There’s a lot to keep track of when querying agents. We’ve developed a comprehensive spreadsheet that will help you organize your query letter submissions, rejection letters, and extended offers. This spreadsheet also helps you create a strategy for who to query first and when to move on to your “dream” agent querying.

What if you think my book is bad?
We don’t believe in lying to clients. Part of helping authors get published is letting them know when their manuscript isn’t ready for the market. We start our submission package service with the first 50 pages critique. If we think revising the first 50 pages isn’t enough to get the manuscript in shape for querying, we’ll let you know and stop work on the other services. You’ll only have to pay half of the invoice.
Do you know any agents you could connect with me?
We do not work with agents or publishers directly, as we believe that would be a conflict of interest.
I'm not sure what market my book is. Could you help me?
Yes! If you’re not sure about your book’s market (YA, NA, adult) or genre (epic fantasy, space opera, romantasy, etc.), we can advise you. Just send us a copy of your manuscript along with a detailed synopsis and we’ll let you know.
